How do I apply for a position at Popcorn Pawz?
We encourage you to visit our stores before you apply for a position. Our hiring process starts online. You will be asked some basic questions and be able to upload a copy of your resume. You will also be able to list your availability when you apply online. Why am I unable to select my availability for Saturday and Sunday?
The weekends are our busiest days and we require full availability both Saturday and Sunday. You will NOT be considered for employment unless you are available all of Saturday and Sunday. What happens after I apply online?
We get lots of resumes and take the time to review each one of them. We are hiring year round for sales associates. If you are selected for an interview, we will contact you. If you received a confirmation after you applied online, then there is no need to follow up with us. We receive a lot of applicants and we will only contact candidates who were selected for an interview. Do I need to have a resume in order to apply online?
Yes. We require an updated resume when you apply online. A resume gives us insight into your background. Lack of work experience can be substituted with activities or volunteer work. Do I need to have prior work experience?
No. We look for individuals that are outgoing, responsible, and receptive to feedback. If you are hired, we will train you extensively on everything. I'm attending school during the week. Do you offer work flexibility?
We schedule work shifts based on store needs. We will try to our best to accommodate school schedules, but we still require full availability both Saturday and Sunday. Do you offer seasonal employment if I go away to school?
No. At this time, we will only consider candidates that are available year round. |
